Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Kidepo valley National Park
You’ll be collected from the airport. Accommodation before the tour starts can be arranged for an extra cost.
After breakfast, we depart from Kampala/Entebbe and travel approximately 452 kilometers (km) north to Kitgum Town. On the way, we pass through a busy, congested town that was severely damaged by the Ugandan civil war in the 1980s. We’ll pause at Luwero Town to pick up a few fruits before moving on through the sparsely populated Nakasongola District, which has vast Savannah grasslands. We stop for lunch in Gulu before moving on to Kidepo Valley National Park.

Day 2: Early morning Game Drive –Lunch -Evening game drive
After breakfast, we depart for the two to three-hour drive to Kidepo National Park, passing through the villages of Kakwanga and Loitanit. Once inside the park, we’ll relax in the lodge or UWA bandas, have lunch, and then plan an evening game drive (optional), during which you can see a variety of animals, such as the cheetah, caracal, aardwolf, greater and lesser kudu, mountain reedbuck,

Day 3: Morning Game drive with an afternoon Kamarojong encounter
After breakfast, you’ll head out on a game drive early in the morning to see a variety of creatures, such as lions, elephants, giraffes, birds, buffaloes, and more. You will have a lunch break before playing Karamojong in the afternoon. You’ll learn about their way of life, relationships, and social interactions. The best day of your safari is likely today. As you get ready for a lengthy journey tomorrow, stop participating in the activity and go back to your accommodation.

Day 4: Travel back to Kampala or Entebbe Airport
By 6:00 am, have breakfast, depart the hotel, and head back to Kampala/Entebbe Airport. There is a good chance that you will stop frequently to take in the scenery, have lunch, stretch your legs and rest your muscles.
