Bazaruto, the archipelago’s flagship species, harbours the biggest refuge population of dugongs in the Western Indian Ocean.

3. Maputo & Southern Mozambique

Despite its appearance as a modest coastal village, Tofo is an essential destination among all the sites to explore in Mozambique. Both day and night offer a captivating experience of genuine, easygoing, and exhilarating Africa.

Tofo is among the rare locations on Earth where one can observe gentle whale sharks and elegant manta rays throughout the year.
