Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer from Kampala/Entebbe city to Kisoro
After picking you up from the hotel and giving you a warm welcome, our guide will drive you out of Kampala along the western road while you take in the stunning scenery of Uganda. You’ll stop at Kayabwe for some photos at the Uganda equator.
You will proceed to travel up to Mbarara before stopping at the Igongo Cultural Center to get some snacks or refreshments.
You will go to Kisoro, where gold meets silver, and arrive there by dusk. Check into a hotel there—a Kisoro tourist hotel or a Kisoro volcano hotel—where we will stay the night while we wait for the events of the following day (Gorilla trekking).

Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Mgahinga gorilla national park
Get up early and have coffee and breakfast before traveling the Mgahinga road and meeting the park rangers to assist you in tracking the gorillas in their natural homes. A variety of bird species will also surprise you with lovely noises, especially in the morning, along with the gorillas, golden monkeys, and abundant vegetation in the forest.

Day 3: Return to Kampala/Entebbe for your flight
With a cup of coffee in hand, you will rise early to explore Lake Mutanda as you watch a variety of morning birds that make a lovely song that awakens people and welcomes you to their inhabitants.
After the boat excursion, you start your journey back to Kampala, stopping first to check into your hotel and enjoy lunch. After that, our driver will take you back to Kampala.
