Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Drive to Kapchorwa- Sipi Falls and Coffee Tour

You’ll be collected from the airport. Accommodation before the tour starts can be arranged for an extra cost.

Drive to Kapchorwa, then continue on to Sipi Falls before arriving at the lodge. Go on the trek through Sipi Falls in the afternoon. Three breathtaking falls along the River Sipi define the waterfall. With views of the distinctive Karamoja valley, the area is primarily panoramic. You will get the opportunity to take a coffee tour along this walk, during which you will learn about coffee and get a firsthand look at how it is grown, dried, and processed locally. The Sipi Falls region, which sits at the foot of Mount Elgon, is renowned for its locally produced and farmed Bugisu Arabica coffee. The primary cash crop, Bugisu Arabica, only grows between 1,600 and 1,900 meters above sea level.

Day 2: Drive to Kidepo Valley National Park

Start your journey to Kidepo Valley National Park after breakfast. About 700 kilometers from Kampala, the park is located in the rough, semi-arid valleys between Uganda’s borders with Kenya and Sudan. It was established as a national park in 1962 and is home to over 77 animal species, 475 bird species, and an abundance of large game. The most remote and beautiful national park in Uganda is called Kidepo. One of Africa’s best wilderness areas is Kidepo.

Day 3: Nature Walk, Game Drive, and Community Visit

You will take a nature walk in the park in the morning, followed by a game drive in the middle of the day. Elephants, zebras, giraffes, large herds of buffalo, warthogs, duikers, Jackson’s hartebeests, lions, leopards, cheetahs, and hundreds of different bird species will all be visible to you. Jackal, Roan antelope, waterbuck, eland, oribi, klipspringer, and lions are some other creatures that might be spotted running around. The park also boasts the highest density of Ugandan-native species, including the hornbill, ostrich, kori bustard, vulture, and pygmy falcon. Day 4: Drive to Murchison Falls National Park

Visit the renowned Murchison Falls National Park by car. The broad grassland and tropical forests of this park, one of Uganda’s largest conservation zones, are home to 451 bird species and 76 animal species. Enjoy a park game drive in the afternoon.

Day 5: Game Drive and Launch Cruise on the Falls

Go on a game drive after a leisurely breakfast. Observe diverse bird species while driving over the wide African savanna in search of lions, leopards, hyenas, buffalo, elephants, Jackson hartebeests, oribis, waterbucks, and Uganda kobs. The Albert Nile flows north from Lake Albert after passing through the savannah, a Borassus palm forest, and grassland on this scenic trip. Take a boat trip to Murchison Falls National Park in the late afternoon. Enjoy the magnificent falls where the Nile barely fits through a 7-meter opening. Then, take a drive back to the inn.

Day 6: Drive to Kampala, Visit Ziwa Rhinos, and Depart

You will begin your return trip to Kampala by stopping at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary on the way. You can go on a walking safari to witness the southern white rhinos in their natural habitat. Follow that by making your way to Entebbe International Airport in order to catch your nighttime flight home.
