Day 1: Overnight in Arusha | 1 Nights

An individual will be waiting to take you to the Arusha Coffee Lodge in a private vehicle after you land at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). Spend the night on Tanzania’s largest coffee plantation, where you can relax in the peaceful surroundings and take in the breathtaking scenery.

Be sure you don’t pass up the chance to participate in a Shanga tour, an exhibition of Tanzania’s inherent artistic potential, where you can also participate in hands-on workshops teaching you basket weaving and beading. Day 2-3: Guided Walking Safaris | 2 Nights

Day 4-5: A Charming Farmstead | 2 Nights

You will be taken to Lake Manyara Airstrip by a light aircraft at Kuro Airstrip the next day. After you touch down, a 4×4 safari vehicle will take you to Gibb’s Farm, where you’ll have the chance to relax in a cottage of opulence surrounded by the lush greenery of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Immerse yourself in the tranquillity and history of a working farm here. Constructed in 1929, it provides a window into relaxed country life and unhurried simplicity.

Join the farmers for a day of farm-style activities, such as vegetable harvesting, milking cows (an experience you won’t soon forget), and feeding pigs. The Ngorongoro Crater, formed over hundreds of years by natural forces, is a great habitat for animals, and you’ll get to see it on your full day excursion. After an hour’s journey from the farm, you’ll arrive at a 7-seater safari vehicle where you’ll drive across the countryside and have a picnic lunch on the floor of the crater. With its pop-up canopy, this vehicle is ideal for those moments when you want to capture the whole scene, such when you see one of the Big Five in the wild.

Once you return to the farm, retire to your own room and curl up in front of the wood stove. On the other hand, you can open the door to your covered verandah and take a deep breath of fresh air while being around by lush greenery, which will make it feel more private and tranquil. Every night, you’ll be treated to a four-course dinner that will fill you up and get you ready for a good night’s sleep. The dishes include fresh salads, savoury meats, soups, and desserts.

Day 6-8: Great Migration in The Serengeti | 3 Nights

On the next leg of your 13-Day Tanzania And Uganda safari, you’ll return to Lake Manyara Airstrip and then take a flight to Kogatende Airstrip. From there, you’ll spend three nights in a secluded area of the Northern Serengeti at the renowned Sayari Camp.

You can see the pathways of the Great Migration from the camp. When the season is right, you can see hundreds of zebras and wildebeests making the dramatic journey over the Mara River, creating a rumbling stampede that echoes throughout the countryside. A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to go on an indoor safari. While you’re here, you may enjoy open-vehicle game drives and shorter walking safaris, both of which will increase your chances of seeing some of the most amazing animals you’ve ever seen.

Indulge in a luxurious spa treatment in the comfort of your suite after a day exploring the plains, and then cool off with a swim in the infinity pool. Enjoy refreshing brews in the great outdoors at a microbrewery that runs on solar power. A private picnic meal in the middle of the Serengeti’s expansive grassland landscapes is another option.

Day 9: Overnight in Entebbe | 1 Nights

Before continuing on to the last stage of your tour, you will have a one-night stay at No.5 Boutique Hotel Entebbe after spending one last morning in the Serengeti. This will be a much-needed break after your flight from Kilimanjaro International Airport to Entebbe International Airport.

Get comfortable in your accommodation and, if you feel like it, jump in the pool for a refreshing swim. If you’d like to take it easy even further, the hotel has a spa and a gym. Have a hearty meal at the hotel’s restaurant in the evening before calling it a night.

Day 10-12: Gorilla Trekking | 3 Nights

Your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, where you will spend three nights at Erebero Hills, begins with breakfast at Entebbe International Airport. From there, you will take a picturesque road transfer to Kihihi Airstrip. Perched on the park’s northern outskirts, this ultra-luxurious lodge boasts apartments with glass fronts and individual decks, as well as an outdoor lounge area with uninterrupted views of the verdant valley below.

An unforgettable opportunity to see gorillas up close and personal awaits you on the first full day of your trip. Spend an hour in the forest with a ranger after a safety briefing. During that time, you will see gorillas in their natural environment, such as when they hunt for fruit in the trees or engage in playful wrestling with their young.
