You will be staying at the classic safari camp, Chobe Under Canvas, and going on twice-daily game drives in this massive conservation area in the famous and wildlife-rich Savute area.
Afterwards, make your way to Sandibe Lodge in the Okavango Delta. The lodge is located in a private concession, right across from the Moremi Game Reserve, and it overlooks a permanent waterway. A Detailed 6-Day Botswana Safari Itinerary | Chobe And Okavango Delta
Days 1-2: Explore the Chobe River | 2 Nights
After touching down in Botswana’s Kasane, you’ll be whisked away to the remote Chobe National Park’s tiny tented safari lodge, Chobe Under Canvas. Chobe National Park is well-known for its plethora of predators and its close encounters with dense populations of elephants. More water has just arrived in the area, and wildlife watching is among the top in Southern Africa.
In addition to the normally fantastic bird watching, you will have the chance to witness the breathtaking zebra migration in the verdant summer months. Guests can take advantage of the camp’s twice-daily wildlife drives conducted by an expert safari guide. Indulge in boat safaris and sunset excursions along the magnificent Chobe River, offering a unique perspective on animal viewing.
Days 3-5: Spend Time in the Okavango Delta | 3 Nights
You will depart from Chobe today and be transferred to the Okavango Delta for the following three nights via light scheduled aircraft. Stunning views await you at the Sandibe Okavango Safari Lodge, which is located in the southern delta on the banks of a permanent channel. Take advantage of the upcoming days by lounging by the poolside and going on 4×4 game drives – you’re guaranteed to witness amazing birdwatching and game viewing.
Among the many fantastic safari activities, the fact that Sandibe is situated in a private concession means that you may embark on guided nature walks and thrilling night drives.
Day 6: Bid Farewell to Botswana
After breakfast today, you will be transferred to the town of Maun to finalise your travel arrangements, saying farewell to the Delta.
