Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive – Entebbe
Your private 4×4 and safari guide will meet you at Entebbe Airport and drive you a short distance to your lodging so you can unwind and get ready for the activities that will take place over the next several days.

Day 2: Entebbe – Kidepo Valley National Park
When you get back to the airport this morning, you take the next internal aircraft up to the secluded Kidepo National Park. Your flight leaves at 1245hrs and is scheduled to arrive at 1445hrs, giving you plenty of time to check into your new accommodations before going on your first game drive this afternoon.

Day 3: Kidepo Valley National Park
Spend the entire day doing morning and afternoon game drives through this stunning park. Kidepo offers a wide variety of games and is a haven in the midst of a large, hostile area. Kidepo is an African enthusiast’s ideal vacation spot, even though it may not be for someone who has never been on a safari. The wildlife is similar to that of Murchison Falls National Park and is located along the Kidepo and Narus Rivers. If you’re lucky, you might even see some fantastic lion vs. buffalo action! After a thrilling safari day, return to your lodge and unwind in a bush bath while taking in the sounds of nature.

Day 4: Kidepo Valley National Park
Today will be spent at a slower tempo as you take a narrated nature walk across the park in the morning. You left this afternoon to meet with the Karamajong tribe, who reside nearby.

Day 5: Kidepo Valley National Park – Entebbe
This morning, have one last game drive before heading to the hot springs, where you may relax and take in views of the mountains and the Sudanese border. Following lunch at the lodge, you return to the airfield in time for your return flight to Entebbe (1500/1630 hours) and your international flight back home.
Alternately, extend your stay and travel farther into Uganda or Rwanda to search for the critically endangered mountain gorillas, or move to the Indian Ocean for the pinnacle of relaxation.
