Day 1: Arrive in Arusha, Tanzania
Upon arrival, you will be greeted with a warm welcome and transferred to your beautiful accommodations in Arusha, northern Tanzania’s safari capital.

Day 2: Arusha / Tarangire National Park
Set out on a picturesque journey to Tarangire National Park, which is known for its iconic baobab trees and big elephant herds. Enjoy a wildlife drive on your way to Tarangire Safari Lodge, where you will have lunch. Continue on to the five-star Tarangire Treetops, where vast elevated rooms are built upon tree-attached platforms with spectacular views of the plains. Rest up before a thrilling night journey.

Day 3: Tarangire National Park
Join your professional ranger for morning and afternoon game viewing in the Tarangire / Manyara region. Day 4: Tarangire / Ngorongoro Conservation Area
This morning, we set out for Lake Manyara. The flamingos that line its shores during the season provide an excellent introduction to Tanzania’s birdlife. Large elephant herds traverse the park, and your ranger will work hard to find the region’s renowned tree-climbing lions and several animal photo possibilities. Continue on to your resort for the following two nights, which is perfectly located to visit Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Explore the crater floor of this extinct, collapsed volcano by descending 2,000 feet. The amount of fauna concentrated here will astound you. Zoom in on the elephants as they walk over well-worn paths. Keep an ear out for the roaring lion guarding its vast pride. Gazelle graze calmly among zebra and wildebeest, and you could see an endangered rhino eating down near the lake. Before returning to your camp, treat yourself to a nice picnic meal.

Day 6: Serengeti National Park
Take a short flight over the Serengeti, which means “endless plains” in Maasai. Arrive at your luxury tented camp in the Serengeti in time for an afternoon game drive. While the exact timing is difficult to predict, this is where almost two million wildebeest, half a million Thomson’s gazelle, and a quarter-million zebra congregate for annual migrations, attracting huge predators such as lion, leopard, cheetah, and hyena.

Day 7: Serengeti National Park
