4-Day Luxury Gorilla Trekking Bwindi | Gorilla Forest Lodge

This 4-Day Luxury Gorilla Trekking Bwindi, short-stay at Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp will allow you to explore the world-renowned Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

The Virunga Volcanoes mountain range is home to the ancient rain forest Bwindi, which stretches across a succession of rugged ridges. Roughly half of the world’s entire gorilla population calls this park home. It was named a UNESCO world heritage site for its ecological distinctiveness and natural beauty.

This customised, shortened 4-Day Luxury Gorilla Trekking Bwindi itinerary would be perfect to add on to an existing East African safari, or to build on with extra nights spent in places like Kibale or Queen Elizabeth National Park.

A Detailed 4-Day Gorilla Trekking Bwindi National Park

Day 1 — Entebbe

When you land at Entebbe Airport, our representative will be there to greet you. Transfer by road to your downtown hotel; dinner, free time, and lunch on the house.

Entebbe is still very much a piece of untamed Uganda, rather than a large, bustling African metropolis. We may arrange you a guided tour of the city or the neighbouring Lake Victoria, depending on the time of your flight. Another option is to go to the Mabamba marsh in the hopes of seeing a Shoebill.

Day 2 — Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

A private vehicle will transport you to the lodge after dropping you off at the airport, where you can catch a local flight to Kihihi.

Greetings from Bwindi! Offering privacy and space amidst the ancient rainforest, the lodge seamlessly integrates with the stunning mountain backdrop. With only 10 private luxury tents, guests are promised an intimate and unique experience, making it a hymn to eco-conscious design.

You are free to do as you like today and enjoy the outdoors. Depending on your preferences, we can incorporate additional activities such as cultural visits, walks, and spa treatments.

Day 3 — Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

The amazing gorilla trekking experience starts as the jungle comes to life and the fog lifts. Even though the gorillas at Bwindi are wild in the wildest sense of the word, they have become accustomed to humans over the years, so you will get the unique chance to see these magnificent animals up close. There is a complex protocol for approaching a massive silverback, but knowledgeable guides will show you the ropes. You will spend an hour with the gorillas after you find them, and then you will head back to camp.

The rest of the day is at your leisure, and the lodge will take care of your meals.

Day 4 — End Of Itinerary

Check out and packed breakfast for the road transfer to Kihihi first thing in the morning. You can either prolong your stay or return to Entebbe to connect with your flight out. Feel free to discuss the various alternatives with us.
