A Detailed 11-Day Uganda & Zanzibar Holiday
Day 1: Entebbe – Kisoro – Nkuringo, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Your return transfer to Entebbe Airport will ensure that you there in plenty of time for your domestic flight to Kisoro.
You will spend three nights in a double cottage at Clouds Mountain Gorilla Lodge on a full-board basis after being met and transferred to Nkuringo, which is about an hour and a half away by car. You are free to relax and take in the sights as you wander the region over the remainder of the day.

Day 2: Gorilla tracking
A gorilla tracking briefing will be held at the park headquarters at 07:00 after breakfast. Once you’ve been assigned a group of knowledgeable ranger-guides, you’ll be led into Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to find habituated gorilla families.
The distance to the gorillas can be as short as 45 minutes or as long as several hours in dense jungle. Once you’ve found the gorillas, you’ll have no more than an hour to spend with them.
Day 3: Nkuringo, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park – Kisoro – Entebbe
Your internal scheduled flight return to Entebbe Airport will depart from Kisoro Airstrip, which is around 1½ hours away, so you will be met and transferred there after an early breakfast.
We will have a representative meet you at the airport and then transport you back to the Lake Victoria Serena Golf Resort & Spa (about 30 minutes away) for a one-night stay in a double room with full board. The remainder of the day is at your leisure following lunch.
Day 4: Off to Zanzibar
Your trip to Entebbe Airport will take around 30 minutes after breakfast, giving you plenty of time to check in for your international flight to Dar es Salaam.
Take your bags with you when you land, and make sure to go to the domestic terminal before your light aircraft flight to Pemba Airstrip in Zanzibar.
After passing through Customs and Immigration, you will be met and driven to Fundu Lagoon, where you will enjoy a 7-night stay in a waterfront villa with full board.

Day 5-10 Pemba, Zanzibar
Spend your time lounging on the beach and making use of the resort’s facilities; however, please be aware that the price of this itinerary does not cover diving, marine activities, or island tours.
Day 11: Departure
Today, you will be transported by road to Pemba Airport to check in for your brief journey on a light aircraft to Dar es Salaam International Airport.
From this point, proceed through the airport’s transfer section to timely board your indirect overnight flight home.
