8 Days in Tanzania Itinerary (Tarangire vs Serengeti Guide)

The 8 Days in Tanzania Itinerary (Including Tarangire vs Serengeti guide). Over the course of eight days in Tanzania, you’ll visit two of Tanzania’s most famous wildlife parks—Tarangire and the Serengeti—and stay in five-star safari lodges each night.

Your African trip starts in a safari camp with a vintage vibe, where you may relax in complete seclusion while enjoying all the modern comforts you could want. You won’t see a soul driving through the 40,000-acre (16,000-hectare) Little Chem Chem area because it is located in an exclusive-use wilderness area next to Tarangire National Park. Animals such as giraffes, elephants, leopards, lions, and cheetah can be spotted on game drives if one keeps one’s eyes open.

We will be continuing our journey to the Serengeti, the most famous safari in Tanzania. An exquisite 8 Days in Tanzania safari resort in Tanzania awaits you after a charter flight takes you to the captivating Mwiba Wildlife Reserve in the Southern Serengeti. The private reserve of Mwiba is home to numerous springs that draw in predators and plains wildlife. Experience the thrill of off-road game drives, bush walks, and spot-lit night drives, in addition to daily game drives in pursuit of the Serengeti’s big cats (lion, leopard, and cheetah).

Tanzania’s Best Kept Secret – Tarangire

Located on Tanzania’s Northern Safari Circuit, Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant herds and baobab trees. Located in an exclusive-use concession adjacent to the national park, Little Chem Chem is a modern tented camp where you will spend the next several days. In your large tent, tastefully furnished with antiques like writing tables and telescopes, you may lose yourself in the ambiance of a bygone safari era.

Immerse yourself in a wilderness teeming with wildlife as you cruise around in an open-sided 4×4 vehicle, hoping to spot unique creatures like cheetahs, buffalo, and, if you’re fortunate, rare tree-climbing lions. One further perk of staying in a private concession is the access to exclusive activities like walking safaris led by knowledgeable rangers and spot-lit night wildlife drives.
