STUNNING VICTORIA FALLS // Zambia
Fly from Johannesburg’s OR Tambo International Airport to Livingstone, Zambia, landing at Harry Mwanga Nkumbula International Airport. You arrive at Thorntree River Lodge, your three-night home, after a relaxing road journey. This chic, modern lodge is located on the banks of the Zambezi River, just upstream from Victoria Falls.
It is a necessity to visit the adjacent Falls, especially at full moon when a lunar rainbow appears over the 108-meter-tall waterfall. Adrenaline enthusiasts will also find much to do with the Falls’ assortment of high-adrenaline sports. Birding walks and guided 4×4 game drives offer excellent chances to observe wildlife, and a relaxing boat ride along the river’s hippo-highway is a must-do Zambezi experience.
The breathtaking views of the surrounding forest that you may enjoy from one of the lodge’s many lookout platforms or the sunken wooden deck, as well as the seclusion of your own, fully equipped suite, are bound to never get old. Take a nap in your personal plunge pool to escape the heat of the day, or spend the afternoon curled up with a book from the library in the cozy nook of a massive sofa.
Days 4-6: Total Luxury at Lion Sands | 3 Nights Sabi Sands Game Reserve, South Africa
You will return to Harry Mwanga Nkumbula Airport to board the flight into South Africa following your final meal in Zambia. After your plane lands at Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport, a private driver will get you up and take you to Lion Sands Ivory Lodge.
Your opulent and modern home is situated on a private concession within South Africa’s prestigious Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve, which borders the Kruger National Park. It is situated on the banks of the Sabie River. Expert ranger-and-tracker teams lead exhilarating 4×4 game drives and educational walking safaris through untamed terrain rich in wildlife. In one of the Big 5 reserves, where off-road driving is allowed for exceptional wildlife encounters and an unparalleled animal tracking experience, expect exceptional game watching with dependable leopard sightings. Join a hippo tour along the Sabie River for a unique experience where you can get up close and personal with these shy creatures while crocodiles sunbathe on the riverside. Game drives at night reveal the nocturnal wildlife of the bush, such as genet, bush babies, and even a cunning predator that stalks and hunts its prey.
Your impossibly roomy two-room villa with a glass façade has a butler on staff and a private rim-flow pool. Enjoy your meals in the seclusion of your villa, alfresco around a crackling fire under a starry sky, or on the lower wooden viewing deck with magnificent views of the nature. After unwinding in the beautifully furnished living area of your suite, warm up in front of the cozy fireplace and then climb into your king-sized bed for a restful night’s sleep.
Day 7: One Night in the City of Gold | 1 Nights Johannesburg, South Africa
Sabi Sands Game Reserve – South Africa
You are taken to Skukuza Airport this morning, where you board a flight to Johannesburg’s OR Tambo International Airport. A representative from The Residence meets you here, and you are driven to the hotel in a Rolls Royce.

Days 9-12: The Seclusion of Denis Island | 4 Nights Private Islands, Seychelles
Denis Private Island -The most beautiful island of the Seychelles!
You are returned to Seychelles International Airport in the morning, where you take a little plane to the isolated island of Denis. Beneath the shadow of coconut palms, your Crusoe-chic beachside home looks out over the crystal-clear waters of the Indian Ocean. In between cool swims in the vibrant blue lagoon, enjoy long days lounging on the footprint-free beach. Discover the enticing ocean depths by going on a reef dive, or simply lazing around in the shallows with a snorkel and getting up close to gliding turtles, pirouetting rays, and triggerfish.
Discover the enormous range of flora and animals as you stroll through the heart of the island’s forest, which is alive with the sounds of birds. Educational island excursions are led by resident conservationists, who offer unique insights into the island’s history and conservation context. Watch the creative cuisine being prepared by the skilled chef in the open kitchen, whether it’s for a five-course dining room affair, breakfast in bed, or a candlelit beach dinner beneath a starry night sky.
