Preserving Natural Resources, Empowering Local Communities, and Preserving the Earth
At The Bespoke African Safari Co., we take great pride in being a pioneer in the safari travel industry and in our commitment to conservation as one of our fundamental principles. In order to be true to our principles, we will not rest until we see that our clients’ vacations help preserve Africa’s natural resources, indigenous peoples, and animals.
Together with local partners who share our dedication and vision for travel as a means to create positive change, we are actively engaged in programs all over the continent. Working together, we can ensure that the natural ecosystems of Africa and the people who depend on them will continue to thrive into the future.

Positive Impact on Community:
The participation of local populations is crucial for the protection of Africa’s biodiversity. There has been a long history of coexistence between wildlife and remote populations in Africa; now, it is up to these people to restore and conserve the continent’s wildlife and wilderness areas. Various community development projects in South Africa, Tanzania, Rwanda, and Zambia are supported by our different activities.
Empowering the Communities of Africa
There is an amazing array of autonomous, creative, and motivating community development initiatives that the Bespoke African Safari Co. is pleased to collaborate with and back. We will not rest until we do what we can to ensure that everyone’s future is bright and free from poverty, and that our travel dollars truly make a difference. Giving back to the communities we visit through improved infrastructure, education, and community empowerment while enjoying once-in-a-lifetime experiences is a win-win.
Through our long-term, collaborative collaborations, we are able to bring about substantial change for the people of Africa and make a beneficial impact on local communities. We help fund scholarships for secondary and tertiary universities that offer priceless mentoring programs, as well as supplies for classrooms, buildings, and food for students. Helping underserved women and children access HIV healthcare is another important mission of the Bespoke African Safari Co.
It is intrinsic to our mission to empower, rather than merely to give back. We can empower future communities and leave a lasting impact for a caring world by changing the way we travel now.
Positive Impact on Environment
By drastically reducing the environmental effect of tourism, we can save the planet’s most endangered places. The goal of eco-tourism is to reduce human impact on the environment while maintaining the character of the place visited. Environmental initiatives that work to replenish Earth’s natural resources have our full backing.
Restoring the Environment
We are aware that careless travel has an impact on the environment, but our desire to see the world and experience new things motivates us nonetheless. Being environmentally conscious is now a must, not a luxury.
Collaborating with organizations that share our commitment to preserving the places we visit and restoring damaged areas is an important element of The Bespoke Safari Co’s mission. Our ideal world is one in which humans and the environment coexist peacefully, and our impact is minimal, leaving just a halo of light in our wake.
Travelife:
Green travelers may rely on Travelife, a top platform for certification, consulting, and benchmarking. Our efforts to improve and objectively validate our beneficial impact on the environment are aided by Travelife’s sustainability accreditation.
Wild Horizons & Victoria Falls Wildlife Trust:
The significance of renewable energy sources in preserving Zimbabwe’s ecosystems is something we are well-aware of. In order to back this endeavor, The Bespoke African Safari Co. has pledged to buy a biogas digester for local communities on a monthly basis all year round. The goals of this endeavor are to encourage sustainable lifestyles, lessen the negative effects on the environment, and strengthen local communities.
B Corp:
Being a B Corp accredited company is a source of great pride for The Bespoke African Safari Co. It shows that we truly believe in the transformative power of business. In addition to holding us to high standards of community upliftment, environmental sustainability, and wildlife preservation, our certification demonstrates to clients that we are unfalteringly committed to sustainability, transparency, and ethical business operations.
Positive Impact on Wildlife
A portion of the proceeds from every safari reservation made with The Bespoke African Safari Co. go toward protecting endangered species. A conservation charge is payable by all visitors to the beautiful wildlife areas of Africa, including national parks, game reserves, and private conservancies, for each day spent there. When you book your safari with us, we’ll factor in these costs. Additionally, we have collaborated with trailblazers in courageous wildlife conservation projects, lending our assistance to critical rescue missions for mountain gorillas and African wild dogs.
Protecting Africa’s Wildlife
The fragile balance of nature depends on wildlife. Iconic and crucial species found on the African continent are under grave danger due to habitat degradation and poaching by criminal gangs. The continent is witnessing massive initiatives to aid in habitat management, translocations and reintroductions of species, monitoring programs, and the collection of research necessary for effective preservation measures.
Some of the trailblazers who are fighting for the preservation of our native species have become our partners. Respected organizations that work with us are the unsung heroes of the animal rights movement, and we will never stop standing by their side and helping spread the word about their important work.
Endangered Wildlife Trust
An esteemed South African nonprofit, the Endangered Wildlife Trust, is one of our partners. Their primary goal since 1973 has been the rescue of endangered and vulnerable animals. We support the anti-poaching efforts of EWT in the Kruger National Park and provide tracking and monitoring equipment for endangered species, such as the African wild dog, also known as ‘painted wolves,’ for every Bespoke African Safari Co. trip that involves a night at one of our chosen Kruger camps.
Communities Living Among Wildlife Sustainably (CLAWS)
Together, CLAWS and The Bespoke African Safari Co. are doing great work to improve the lives of people and protect endangered species. By donating to the Mobile Cattle Boma initiative, we help safeguard Africa’s big cats while also providing long-term solutions to local populations. This program employs eco-rangers to maintain safety and cohabitation and accommodates livestock, reducing human-wildlife conflict.
Ecoexist Project
Supporting Botswanan craftspeople is a joint effort between the Bespoke African Safari Co. and the EcoExist Project. We are assisting the Xoa Elephant Dung Paper Making Group in bringing their environmentally friendly products to market through our program. Our goal is to support local companies and encourage long-term economic prosperity by highlighting goods made and eaten in the area through a special lookbook.
