Detailed Itinerary

Days 1 – 3: Track the Big 5 | 3 Nights Kruger Private Reserves, South Africa

A charter airplane will transport you to Ngala Tented Camp after your arrival at OR Tambo International Airport. During your stay, you will feel as though you are entering the wilds of South Africa. An unparalleled combination of excitement and comfort awaits you at this opulent camp. After a day of exploring the safari, relax in one of the canvas tents, tastefully decorated with earthy tones and rich textures.

The lodging at Ngala Tented Camp is just the beginning of your experience; the camp’s expertly guided game drives provide chances to see animals like never before. The Big Five and other incredible animals are flourishing in their native environment, and you have the opportunity to see it. Every moment is full with wonder and expectation, whether you’re going on a bush walk in the evening or a game drive first thing in the morning. Once back at camp, enjoy delicious meals while listening to stories told around the crackling campfire.

Day 4: A Night at The Residence | 1 Nights Johannesburg, South Africa

You will be driven back to Johannesburg and then taken to The Residence for a morning wildlife drive. Suites at this boutique hotel in Johannesburg’s wealthy Houghton neighborhood come with spa tubs and balconies that look out over the hotel’s beautiful garden, tennis court, and pool. Duvets made of luxurious Egyptian cotton and fluffy goose-down pillows adorn the king-sized beds, which are exquisitely furnished with crystal chandeliers, velvet drapes, Persian rugs, and other exquisite interior decorations.

Kick back with a drink on the verdant porch in the summer and take in the breathtaking views of the land, or snuggle up on the sofa in front of the fireplace in the living room on cold winter nights. Pamper yourself with a massage from the spa’s skilled therapists or use the hotel’s free Wi-Fi to get some work done.

Days 5 – 8: Say Hello to the Seychelles

Your journey to the Seychelles begins with a drive to the airport after breakfast. You will be driven to the Hilton Seychelles Northolme Resort from the international airport. These private houses on the picturesque Seychellois island of Mahé sit on a hill covered with thick vegetation and provide breathtaking views of the bay below. Coconut palms, hibiscus flowers, mango trees, and the big granite boulders distinctive of the Seychelles form a seamless backdrop to the hotel.

You may spend hours sunbathing on the hotel’s private beach, which is located just north of Beau Vallon, the most popular beach on Mahé. The sands are silky soft and embraced by the cerulean ocean. A tranquil haven for relaxation, an infinity pool lets you cool off, and umbrellas and comfy loungers beside the glittering water characterize the scene.

For the more energetic sunbathers, there is a wide variety of land and water pursuits to pick from. You can snorkel right off the beach and see all sorts of brightly colored fish dashing around the rocks in the little bays all across the coast. Savor a beverage as the sun sets on an exquisite boat ride or look back with delight on your island home from a kayak drifting behind the breakers.

Days 9-11: A Secluded Island Awaits…

You will be transferred by boat to Silhouette Island this morning, where you will spend the night at the Hilton Seychelles Labriz Resort & Spa. Located northwest of Mahé, nestled in tropical forest near to the old settlement of La Passe, Silhouette Island was supposedly acquired by the Dauban family in exchange for a violin in the 19th century. Island getaway featuring white-sand beaches met by the blue Indian Ocean which spreads all the way to the horizon, guarded by Mount Dauban with its verdant slopes and mist-covered peaks.

While touring the island, you may come across rare hardwoods, incense trees, and carnivorous pitcher plants, among other botanical marvels. Accompany a marine biologist or resident naturalist, who knows the island’s environment inside and out, as you hike the mountain trails. Feel fortunate to meet big creatures that are over a century old by visiting the refuge for giant tortoises.

Warm water swimming and snorkeling right off the beach are great options for water babies. Scuba diving offers an incredible opportunity to explore the underwater wonderland of this island in the Indian Ocean. Offshore, you’ll find a perfect coral reef filled with rare fish species.

Day 12: Back to the Real World

After you have breakfast, you will be transferred to Seychelles International Airport by road from Mahé by boat. Take a trip back to Johannesburg from here to get to your connecting journey home.
