Guests arrive at Julius Nyerere International Airport in Dar es Salaam, where the Jumeirah Thanda Island crew provides a VIP concierge service for customs and immigration. Up to eight guests can reach the property in an Airbus EC 155 B twin-engine helicopter in 25 minutes. Alternatively, 12-passenger fixed-wing aircraft can land at Mafia Island, followed by a 30-minute boat journey or a 10-minute helicopter fly to Thanda.
