A Detailed 6-Day Egypt Cairo, Nile Cruise, Luxor & Aswan Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Cairo

Our representative will be there to assist you with your visa application and to accompany you through customs and immigration upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport. You will be met at the airport by a private transfer who will take you to the Le Meridien Pyramids.

Day 2: Giza

Join your private Egyptologist guide as you explore Saqqara, the Solar Boat, the Chephren Pyramid, the Great Pyramids, ancient Memphis, and the world-famous Sphinx today.

Day 3: Cairo – Aswan

A private vehicle will transport you from the Le Meridien hotel to the Cairo Airport. Excluded is the airfare from Cairo to Aswan.

The distance between Cairo and Aswan is approximately 550 miles, or about an hour’s flight. Egypt is well-known for many things, including its stunning landscapes, the Nile River, rich history, and top tourist attractions like the Nubian Village and the Philae Temple.

Beginning your private tour of Aswan at the High Dam, your next stop should be the Philae temple. Ancient peoples flocked to the temple, which sprang from a picturesque island in the center of the Nile.

Day 4: Nile

Departure from Aswan to Luxor is an early morning affair for the luxury Nile cruise. Sail leisurely along the beautiful Nile River as you savour your first breakfast.

Your first stop will be in Kom Ombo later on in the morning. Along with your private Egyptologist guide, you will see the first of many Greco-Roman temples in the area. The gods Sobek and Haroeris, who were both depicted with falcons on their heads, were worshipped at the Kom Ombo temple.

Keep sailing towards Edfu once you’ve visited the Kom Ombo temple.

Visit the Edfu Temple in the afternoon accompanied by a private Egyptologist tour and a horse-drawn chariot. The temple of Edfu, sometimes called the temple of the falcon-headed god. Its purpose was to house the divine couple Horus and Hathor. Among Hathor’s many attributes were love, beauty, and motherhood.

Day 5: Luxor
