A Detailed 6-Day Masai Mara Safari And Bwindi Gorillas Itinerary
Day 1 — Mara Naboisho Conservancy
We will pick you up from Jomo Kenyatta Airport and take you to Wilson Airport. Even if you’re running late, we can help you arrange for a pre-night in Nairobi. After that, you’d take a plane to the Mara the following day.
After a short flight from Wilson Airport to OL Seki, a guide from the lodge will be waiting to greet you. After a 45-minute scenic transfer, you will spend your first day immersed in the wilderness at the luxury camp.
Here, you can get up close and personal with animals like lions and elephants on game drives, and you can learn about the local culture on cultural tours and guided hikes. Under the starry sky, campers unwind at night by the fire, sharing stories and memories from the day.
After an afternoon of exciting game drives, head back to the lodge for a hearty dinner.
Day 2-3 — Mara Naboisho Conservancy
Embark on a comprehensive safari where native animals flourish all year round. The tents are large and comfortable, and inside you can see the beautiful Naboisho plains.
The open valley across from the camp is home to elephants and buffalo, and on most evenings you can hear the roar of a lion. At Naboisho, you’ll find the perfect blend of community, conservation, and tourism—a chic camp in a game-rich location. On both day and night safaris, you may see the abundant animals in the area.
Day 4 — Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
Take a flight to Uganda and experience a change in scenery from the savannah to the verdant Bwindi forests.
Erebero Hills is a tranquil haven with a view of the mountains covered in forest, so take a leisurely journey there. Get comfortable and get ready for the next leg of your adventure.
Before your gorilla walk the next day, unwind at the lodge for dinner and get a good night’s sleep.
Day 5 — Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
For an unforgettable gorilla trekking adventure, head into the thick Bwindi forest. You will spend an incredible hour tracking a habituated gorilla family with the help of knowledgeable experts as you see them interact with their natural environment.
Get back to Erebero Hills for some downtime and to reflect on your adventures.
Day 6 — End of Itinerary
Transfer to the runway for your flight to Entebbe after your last breakfast in the hills. Leaving with memories of the beautiful forests of Bwindi and the vast savannahs of the Mara, you will continue your adventure.
