Day 1-3: Tongabezi Lodge, Livingstone, Victoria Falls | 3 Nights
You will be met by a driver at Livingstone International Airport and taken in a car to the stunning Tongabezi Lodge. Located on the picturesque Zambezi River, Tongabezi is an ideal starting point for adventures to Victoria Falls, one of the world’s natural wonders.
For good reason, Victoria Falls is called the “Adventure Capital of Africa.” The park offers a wide variety of exciting activities for visitors seeking excitement. Nonetheless, there is some activity for everyone, whether you’re not up for white water rafting, bridge swinging, or bungee jumping. Take a breathtaking helicopter trip over the Falls for a bird’s-eye perspective, or go on a nature walk or game drive to admire the local wildlife. Take a relaxing boat ride along the river, cast your line for a catch-and-release fishing session or peruse the wares of regional artisans at a market.

Returning to Livingstone International Airport, a driver will take you to the plane that will take you to South Luangwa National Park for your safari. Upon your arrival at Mfuwe Airport, meet your guide. They will then drive you to Shawa Luangwa Camp, the site of an actual safari.
Situated on the verdant banks of the Luangwa River and strategically placed in the abundant Nsefu region of South Luangwa, this area offers unparalleled opportunities for wildlife viewing. Depending on the experience, guests can get a different view of the local fauna and flora by walking, riding in a game viewer vehicle, or taking a boat ride. As you make your way from the game drive to the lodge, keep an eye out for the many animals and birds that inhabit the area, as well as the many birds that nest on the riverbanks and the refreshing river waters.
