7-Day Masai Mara And Serengeti Safari | Kenya & Tanzania
A 7-day Serengeti and Masai Mara safari offers an intensive, one-week adventure spanning Kenya and Tanzania, typically focusing on the Big Five and the Great Migration. It usually starts in Nairobi, covers the Maasai Mara, crosses to the Serengeti via the Isebania border, and often includes the Ngorongoro Crater, offering a high-density wildlife experience.
If you are planning a trip to Kenya or Tanzania to see the massive yearly migration or the abundant and varied big game, this 7-day safari is the way to go. Stops include Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park and Kenya’s famed Masai Mara National Reserve. The Masai Mara is the first stop on your safari. During your three nights here, you’ll have the opportunity to go on unlimited game drives in Kenya’s most beautiful reserve, which is home to a wide variety of animals. Following your Mara safari, you will pass into Tanzania via the Isebania border and then be transferred to a Serengeti camp.
Here is an example of a standard safari schedule. Keep in mind that rates change with the seasons and the months of travel; for example, prices are highest from July to October and lowest from April to mid-June.
